I took the picture with my Macro lens adapter thing-a-ma-bobber. What I learned...ISO 1600 puts off a lot of noise and I still don't have any clue about what I'm doing:-)
next time i see you we need to talk about your macro lens adapter thing-a-ma-bobber. i'm interested. if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost, and how much do you like it?
Hey Blaire, The macro lens add on pieces come in a kit of three (2x, 4x etc...). I think they were somewhere in the vacinity of $70 (all together not seperatly). Bang for your buck they are awesome. A macro lens would be so pricey and I don't think I would use it often enough to warrant the cost. But these little filters (I really need to remeber what they're called...my Mom knows), are awesome because respectively thet were so cheap and I like to have fun with them.
Thanks jen, your really helpful. i've thought about getting a macro lens, but like you said it's pricey, so this might be a better solution. thanks again.

cool butterfly pics...Jen you are really making me want to get a zoom lens. love the details up close.
You take beautiful pictures of animals and creatures in nature. Your lens really does seem fabulous.

I think they turned out great!
You must know something because I don't think I have ever seen a butterfly that close. Pretty cool
You are the best at finding little creatures to capture!
